At Morning Meadow Preschool, we are more than just a preschool—we are a community dedicated to helping children grow, learn, and thrive. Our mission is to provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Our team of experienced and passionate educators is committed to providing the highest quality early childhood education. Each teacher is trained in child development, and dedicated to creating a nurturing and engaging classroom experience. Our teaching team brings more than 75 years of combined early childhood experience!
Sheila Waters-Director
I attended Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in Education and Psychology. I have worked in the Early Childhood Education field for over 25 years and have had the pleasure of being with Bethlehem Baptist Preschool (formerly Chamberlayne Baptist Preschool) for the last 15 years. I began as a teacher in our 3 year old class and 4 years ago, had the privilege of taking over the directorship. I am married and have two amazing sons. In my spare time I love to read, journal, cook and spend time at the beach with my precious family.
Cindy Todd- Financial Director
I served as the Director for CBPS now BBPS for 15 years. Now that I have somewhat retired, I currently serve as the Financial Administrator as well as assist our current Director as needed. Prior to coming to BBCP I set up the Children’s Ministry for a large local church and served as their Director for 12 years. I love working with children and their families and believe children are God’s greatest gift.

Mrs. Wilson
My name is Courtney Wilson. I have worked in Early Childhood Education for more than 15 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in English Lit from VCU. My training and experience as a preschool teacher centers around play-based learning, social-emotional skill building and creating an empathetic classroom environment.
Mrs. Martin
I'm Ally Martin and it's a joy to be a part of this team. I have a bachelor's degree from JMU and love working with children. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a little mind learn something new and grow confident in their abilities. I take pride in creating a warm and inviting classroom where children are nurtured and motivated to try their best. Because I often teach ages 4 & 5 together, I make time to work with students individually on certain skills,
Mrs. Gascon
Hi there, Preschool Family, my name is Madison Gascon! I have 18 years of experience in Early Childhood Developement. I devoted a lot of my young teen years to babysitting, helping in Vacation Bible schools and teaching Sunday school for the 3's class. I then spent 6 years teaching at Cool Spring Baptist Church and helping run their after school progam. I then opened an in home childcare, where I created a fun and loving space for littles to thrive, while also raising my 3 daughters! I love playing volleyball, spending time with my family, watching reality tv and drinking cold brew coffee! I believe children learn best through creating and getting messy, exploring while playing and what's life without a little dancing and singing! My hope is that every friend would feel welcomed and at home in my classroom!
Mrs. Crandall
Hi, I'm Rylee Crandall and I'm thrilled to be a part of the Morning Meadow Preschool team! I've spent 20 years working with children in a variety of roles, including as an au pair, private tutor and preschool assistant with a focus on music education. I love seeing young minds grow and thrive through creative learning experiences. I'm excited to bring my passion and experience to the classroom and to help nurture a joyful, engaging environment for every child.
Mrs. Menzies
Hello, I am Gale Menzies and I am excited to be teaching the 3 year class this year! I previously taught at the preschool in the 2 year class and I was a Teacher's Aide to the 3 and 4 year class. I also taught Creative Movement and Science. I love to run, paint, read, spend time at the beach and hang out with my grandchildren. Teaching brings me much joy!
